ive used windows 8 from the day it came out and i can not fault it in anyway yeah it had problems which everything that is new does have but with 8.1 they fixed all that crap and it runs perfectly

I'll be getting Windows 8.1 with my next computer build or purchase. Games released this fall (and from then on) will be running with support for DirectX 11.2, which Windows 7 does not have. As I'm a pretty big gamer, I'll want to upgrade sooner than later. Also, DirectX 12.0 comes out next year. I'm assuming the next version of Winblows will also be out by then.

Windows 8, has a good visual, and like @Maddude said, in the version 8.1 all was fixed, I love it
8.1 is super fast. It takes a little time to get use to it, but overall it's a huge improvement over Windows 7.
I'm using Windows 8.1 and it's pretty.... pretty fast and looking amazing!!
Didn't had any big problems yet and everything working fine.
You should try it out, if your pc is good enough.
I was pretty disappointed with Windows 8 but when 8.1 came out and i upgraded to it, i simply can't go back to 7!
