It all depends on the settings you run your clients at. I don't see how 1 FPS is playable, but if it is, then good. Maybe a $300 PC can run 50 clients. I've never tested it, so I can't accurately recommend a PC of such low cost. All of the PC's I've ever made were over $500, and they all can run 30-50 clients - that I can confirm.

@J.Dre Hi there, you really look like a guy that completely understands his technology so I was hoping you could explain something for me if it'd be okay.
I have bought a new toshiba laptop, which works just adequately for a laptop. However if I was planning to bot more clients, how could I actually improve the CPU usage as that seems to be the problem? For example, would I need to purchase something and how would it actually work? I flunked internet technology, so would you be able to explain it to me like I was an eight year old?

Not to test you but really half that ? Cause the Pc i got is from a pretty basic computer 4gb ram and shit 64gb or something harddrive with windows vista and i run a max of 16 clients with windAddons ;p. Your news is super sad full but i will take it thanks man

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump with some new information:
The GTX Titan X, AMD R9 390x, and 980Ti are expected to debut soon. The Titan X and 390x sooner than the 980Ti. The reason I mention this is because I am actually planning on building a new computer soonand thought it may be helpful to others in the same boat. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
These are early benchmarks based on the rumored specifications. The Titan X results are probably the most accurate, as it is expected to launch tomorrow (Mar. 17th). As you can see, the new cards are going to be very good compared to previous generation cards. All of them are based on new technology and architecture.
The prices are rumored as well, but expected as follows:
GTX Titan X: $999 - $1349 USD.
AMD R9 390x: $799 - $999 USD.
GTX 980Ti: $799 - $999 USD.

Jeese guys so I'm building my first computer right now as I type. It's getting a little confusing because some of the parts on the video don't match up 100%. Like the fan slots on my mobo are 4 prong. And my case fan connectors are for a 3 prong. Still trying to figure out how to connect all the leds. I'm on the ssd and hdd part right now. most of everything else is done. I still have Sara cables to connect plus I have to install my graphics card. I went with a evga ssc 960
