Cipsofts recent bans.

Just wanting to see what you guys think about the bans that have been handed out in the past couple months.

Ive had some fellow guidleys get sent to deletera and this is the first time its hit this close to home if you will. Ive botted using xeno since late 2012 and havent recieved a single ban. *Knocks on wood*

So i guess what im asking is what do you guys think has changed? I really dont think their "automatic detenction tool" is any different since its inception. I am wandering if they are taking reports more seriously?

I don't think anything has changed at all. They're just more public about how many they are banning and you happened to have a semi-personal experience.

I hear ya, but are those numbers of accounts banned even real. I assumed they were uber inflated and or chalked full of gold spammers and petty characters.

well i always expect a ban sooner or later but so far none has hit me . even the account that i botted 100% even afked skills on it is and bot it from ss to ss here and there

i think its just more from reports cause i try to get empty places so nobody bothers me

Well in Iona this guy recently got deleted on every char the he owned before he got deleted and even the chars that he sold got deleted it was about 20+ characters much noob chars but there was a 400+, 300+ and couple 200+ that got deleted of him

My rl friend got deleted on every account he owned yesterday and even his main account he never botted! every account was registered on another person (gf, brothers etc.). I think that was a rampage and they just deleted everything what logged in on that ip

@Nara Is this true? i cant believe this, i dont think cipsoft would ban everyone1 who logged in on the same ip. What if am playing without bot, and someone bots with the same ip, and i get deleted, so wtf?

I was just informed my real life\guild leader was just deleted on his main. Which is a huge hit. He did bot 24/7 but whats the difference in him botting 24/7 now or botting 24/7 a year ago?

Makes me lean more toward reports than the actual "detection tool".

@alexsiux I´m not kidding. he lost about 5-6 accounts, 350 ek, 310+ ek, 350+ rp, 220+ ms etc. He didn´t bot the knights since 1-2 month. He only botted the MS lately. He was botting his MS yesterday and suddenly his alert was activated, he wanted to relog and noticed the account was deleted. Then he checked his other accounts and every account he owned (from free acc moneymaker that even not logged in the last 3 month until the main account that was NEVER botted) was deleted. He wrote an email to cipsoft and we hope that he will get his main account back

I cant say for sure what has changed but I strongly feel that 24/7 botting is currently an express ticket to deletera.
