Thread: Did I find CIP's new detection method?

    My opinion on the matter is that they are combining a few different things to catch people. My assumption based on how I botted a rp from 0 to 150 was that they look at your online time and your hunting activity and chat logs. Most people don't log onto tibia for 9 hours, go to crystal spiders and use 3-5 spells and never say anything or enter private chats etc. I could be VERY wrong on this but it's just what I am thinking. Like online times, if you bot during a Monday for 8-12 hours, that would raise a huge flag to me because either a, your suppose to be in school or b, working (most people today, not saying people don't stay home). So regular above normal times spent online during the week are something I'd assume they'd be checking. All while I botted I would enter world chats, private, etc if I wasn't afk (which I didn't do often). Only reason I got banned was a paid script from nakuu had one of those Swiss Army knife tool things instead of a rope and I couldn't figure it out, so my character tried to use something it didn't have for an hour with me noticing.

    i've noticed this when i was botting, but then i realised that my bot was killing a monster, a stronger monster came into my screen and then it went and killed/chased that monster, then resumed forgetting about the first monster at end of cave with whatever health i hit it too. although im not sure this would be the case for a knight hunting rotworms.

    one thing i do want to say, is some of the scripts i have paid for are kinda sloppy, one example being a drop vial script that didnt check your cap, or to see if your targeting or even if you have any empty pots or are in protection zone, it just throws that item id under you, always, and sleeps for a random period, so the result is a huge vial trail to and from your same dp locker to your cave, and probably thrown during the most 'intense' combat periods.

    now i never used this script for long, scripts i have botted with most of the time are not as sloppy as this, also i dont like full afk botting, so whenever my character walks back into the dp and stands on exactly the same spot to begin searching for dp, i will quickly walk off that spot and to whatever dp i choose (usualy most private, like normal right?) then the bot just carries on from there depositing items. not to imply i never have full afk botted, as i've been pked while full afk botting. also, when my character walks into some caves, there are large stairways with 3 tiles, i always try to walk into a different one as the bot will walk the same one always when afk. ive even noticed on one ocasion the bot go out if its way, sidestepping monsters and walking round to enter the same tile from the north, which i try to avoid. maybe this is PART of the reason i havent been banned YET (-.-). like most i dont believe it's down to just one factor, but who knows? only time will hopefully tell

    sounds like a crappy vial dropper, what u want is when cap <100 or what ever too drop the emptys

    Experienced the exact same thing this evening at glooth bandits! There was nobody in spawn, no blood as well, and there were like 4-5~ glooth bandits at (almost) the exact same red hp %.


    Edit: 2 more rustheap golems just now. Spawn is EMPTY, I swear. No blood on the ground or anything..

    strange, is that the first time today you entered the cave? or were they on red after hunting there for a while? sounds like it could be PART of their new detection system as quite a few people have noticed this. im going to run around most spawns on my main shortly see if i can notice this phenomenon anywhere in my world

    I don't bot since a long time ago but I still hang around this forum for trades etc.

    I noticed many times creatures with not max health at random places and sometimes in places I hunt suddenly there is a creature with not max health and it is only me being there.

    So this could be something cip does and more and more people are experiencing this

    I've too noticed the exact same thing. Was doing ava's in tomb and when I was in the deepest part of the tomb 4 vamps with red health appeared. My first thought was that somebody must have died here while I was refilling, but nah, didn't see anyone in that tomb for hours. So it may be true.

    i think there is a valid explanation for this inside the tomb, basically the bot will avalanche necros/vamps to red health, then you will end up chasing away a banshee, after the banshee is dead the bot will just continue where it left off, thinking the room with low hp vamps are dead, and moving on to the next room.

    but as far as im aware, this CANNOT be the same for a knight hunting carrion/rots on FOLLOW attack, because the character wont be running from any monsters, therefore it will just kill all monsters in screen (which dont run) and carry on, so in THEORY there could be some sort of bot test event that can occur, and after running around some spawns on my server, everything seemed fine, so im now thinking that you will need to hunt there for a set period of time, or the event could occur after a X amount of bot reports or if CIP have you under there monitor process.

    ofc marshal..but in this case I was manually exping in the tomb, so I killed every single vamp / necro. If I had been botting it would be another story
