It never has been safe and probably never will be lol. You always take a chance you minute you start using it again

Some statistics shows that people that comes back to botting after some months not playing or not botting might get deleted easier. A possible explanation is a big change in the behaviour of the player. It doesn't matter which bot you're using.Originally Posted by omnstar

Copying what I said on the same question on Wind forums:
There were reports, either on Xenobot or Windbot, but there was none on blackd safe cheats for example.
I would say that the ban on xeno/wind weren't caused specifically due to healing but because of other unrelated reasons (healing while MCing,reports,botting on the acc before,etc)
Why I'm saying it? Blackd safe cheats only heal you when the client is focused, that means no cheat is activated while MCing or browsing internet. And blackd is way simpler than wind/xeno/ibot/etc because it just presses hotkeys, with not much intelligence. If you bot only one acc, being a casual player and with a smarter healer on Windbot/Xenobot you won't get deleted. You can still enjoy your wind huds, set a good, non-obvious healer (no instant utani hur/exura when paralyzed too) and don't expect to get deleted.
For the casts on monsters I don't know of anyone that does that only, not even reports of people, as 99,9% of the botters spell casts on monsters while cavebotting, so there are a lot of confounding variables. I do that myself when I hunt "manually", using everything but cavebot, but if I get deleted we will never know if that's what caused it.
There are papers around that could indicate that it's possible to get deleted while using spells attacker, due to the high efficiency, less shooting the wrong spell, etc. In my opinion that could be one of CIP's methods of deletion, as it's one that can get detected (if CIP wants) in a short hunt time, that might explain people getting deleted within less than two hours.
Anyway, if I was to suggest something to have minimal risks is to use the bot like you said, for healing and shooting, but with some intelligence behind it. As for cavebot, if you don't have very good scripts (those aren't sold on bot forums), I recommend you to not do it, as you will be doing the same thing that made most people get deleted, in hope that you are just "lucky" like they say.
