The Market really makes this decision one that doesn't matter much these days, but I'd recommend the Blue Djinn. You'll most likely use it more often at lower levels. And most of the Green Djinn stuff is easily sold on the Market.

For some reason I've found Green Djinn to be more useful at higher levels. Tower shields, giant swords, rods, medusa shield and all these are Green Djinn. Blue Djinn is mostly only good at lower level when you're questing (blue robe, crown armor/legs). I find that you can sell most valueble blue djinn items on market (boh), while it can be harder to get good price out of for example tower shields, giant swords and rods. This can of course vary from server to server so dont get hung up on that.
But yeah in the end its just w/e. Pick what you think you'll hunt, or just create another level 40 to get the other djinn if the market isnt good enough.

Banuta/Serpents/Medusas -> Green Djinn
