You can manually type in the itemid of the potion
Wait a moment... Did it use to be possible to select your potion with the mouse? I've always used the id.

You have been able to click on the potion itself to get a crosshair to target the supply rune/potion to fetch the ID, lately however it is not possible, after pressing the crosshair when aiming on the rune, the support window just closes.
In regards to the ID, try CTR+Click on the item and you will see the ID of the item, enter this in the box for your support instance.
