Need help!

Hello xenobot! So I am new to this forum but wanted to ask if anyone could help me with a Lua script.

So basically I am playing on a server and the server got a system called "loot essence", "gold essence, and these essence comes up random when you are hunting and you need to stand on them to capture them the essence moves around so it may stand at the right and when you stand on it, it goes to the left, then somewhere around you, but you capture it after the third or four try and when you capture it you get rare items.

I know the basics of c++ and Lua (I know the if, else, elseif, loop statements but not that good). But I don't really know how to start or how to code it :/ But correct me if I am wrong, I think that I need the ID of the essence that comes up in the map? (I think I can get the ID).

Anyways that is what I need help with
