Thanks for posting that thread, it answered some of my questions.
But not all!

If you look at the axe and mace arena, they adviced to stick with a shield because of the low defense on the weapons.
If you look at twohanders with high defense, The Avenger is the only weapon that's worth using as twohander purely because of it's defense (38)? Am I right?

Haunted Blade has 12 defence and I'm pretty sure you're going to struggle with taking hits later on!

I got an old rareset(dh, mpa, glegs, steelboots/boh) on the char now so I dont think I'll that that much damage
I'll switch to blacksteel sword on 35 and mercenary sword on 40.
Belive me this is not the first time I level a char with only 2 hander :P
