    Introduce yourself!

There's prolly a old one laying around, back in the forum archve. But it's obviously outdated, so keep us updated with what you're dowing nowdays.
What do you work with, name, age, games you're playing, tibia status along with history if you decide o share that, where do you live, how's your life and so on. Feel free to add questions if you feel to do so ignore the question asked if that's what you rather do. We need to start to know each other for a better community.

Well, when it comes to me..
My name is Jonathan Holm. I'm currently working for Volkswagen Sweden, as a mechanic / technichian. I used to be working as a semi engineer / technichian in Norways for Ford, but I couldn't stay away ffrom my girlfriend and family in Sweden so I moved home. I'm born and raised in Göteborg, Sweden along with my 5 years older sister Caroline. My parents seperated my age of 6. I recently bought a new apartment and moved in together with my girlfriend Victoria. That was a huge step, but for sure nothing I regret.
I'm playing on Olympa, when there's time that is. Been playing there for perhaps 2 years now. I used to be one of the biggest goldresellers on Olympa untill the gold price dropped and I decide to sell characters instead. My current project is www.XenoChars.com, where I'm selling characters as a reseller on many diffrent servers and servertypes. Obviously selling some gold, but far from as much as before.
But we shouldn't be talking about that. I've been around for a long time, I actually started useing the same nickname as I do today a couple of years ago on OTFans. (Join Date 15th September 2006). Started off as a member, as everyone else. Enden up as a moderator, time went back and I got backstabbed and later decide to go rage to get banned as no one wanted to ban me. I knew that if I wasn't bannished, I'd get back to the forum one day, and that wasn't anything I wanted. I joined OTland after that, I was actually a member before, but got active at that time. Unfortuntly, me and Nick (@DarkstaR) threat them by planing a hack attempt towards their DB. So I got bannished along with Darkstar. Everything begin with a saff member on OTland sharing a .rar including the current version of XenoBot at that time. That was during the start when the bot had no log in system and was under beta. Plenty of members of the forum was useing and sharing the bot, and note that this was right after a update from cipsoft and would prolly last for a while.
When I was bannished, they gave me this reason:
You have been banned for the following reason:
When you and your people hack otland, you can remove this ban.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never
I replyed with this a while after: http://otland.net/f21/i-just-came-say-hello-158268/

And was then bannished again... I wont bother any longer, as OTland is shit anyways.
After the time on OTland, I went to TibiaUnderground (TibiaUG/TUG), were I meet plenty of new friends. We all allied and made a huge guild on Olympa, Mirage.. The old Mirage.. Hosting poi etc, we actually cleaned poi once with 15 polaks as customers in 1.5h WITHOUT any knights or druids. We were 2-3 pladins and maybe 4-6 sorcs.
The guild included most of the forum by then, and many of us were high levels. I remember us being over 20 people with characters above 200, a few over 300 and a level 400. That time was great.
And as with everything, the time of TibiaUnderground was counted and the forum died out, as the admins went wiered and started banning almost the entire staff for ingame accidents. That was no longer a great place to hang, it was retarded..
I was in the staff on TUG along with @Naro, @XtrmJosh, @DarkstaR (he left at the time I joined the staff tho), @SamDaMan, @Luls and @Messed Around from this XenoBot forum. I've actually known them all for years now, but I belive Sam and DarsktaR have been my friends for longest. Should be close to 6 years now.. Wow, the time pass by quick.
Soon after TUG died, people went on and got more active on XenoBot Forums, and I got stuck, as always. My replutation wasn't as good here as it was on TUG as noone knew me more than the staff from here basicly. But I hope that has changed. I'm still yet a very trusted person I hope, but that's nothing towards what I was on TUG.

That was all for now, share your life with us/me

    With kind regards, HolmaN.

    So here's my story...
My name is Anton. I'm currently unemployed and have been for the past 4 years. Born and raised in Skellefteå, Sweden. I started playing tibia at version 7.3, it was back in 2004. The first server I played was Lunara since all my friends played there. Me and my friends enjoyed killing people and that's about all we did for a couple of years.

I started playing Xerena when they released that server and met a guy who I then started to talk to. His main server was Refugia so I started playing Refugia but I eventually stopped talking to him.
I went back to Lunara to play with my friends again, played there for a few months and then moved to Refugia again.

I registered on Tibiabot forums early 2007 under the name Infernal Bolt but it wasn't until around June when I made my first project that I first started posting. The reason I chose Infernal Bolt was that they just introduced them into the game and I was playing a paladin at the time.

My first paladin project got very popular due to the fact that no one really tried skilling on goblins after the 8.0 update. Before that update you had to pick up stones everytime you threw them and now you didn't have to do that anymore which made it ALOT easier to train with them. The project got around 1000 posts in less then a month but I eventually stopped the project due to the limitations of NG Bot.

I stopped playing tibia just before 8.1, tried WoW, played that for about a year and then came back to tibia at around 8.3. My friends had moved to Danubia so I started playing there, got a pally up to around 60 and then got hunted because I was friends with my friends(fml).

I started Leveling a druid, got 70 then joined the team Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
We had a lot of fun killing the leading power abusing guild. Unfortunately the YouTube account I had all the pk vids on got deleted because of copyright

Here's 2 movies from the time, I'll make them links since its easier to read without having videos in the middle.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiHdRXrzl7I
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmcoyL8XgE0

After that I had some projects barely worth mentioning.
ElfBot died, tried TUGbot, moved on to Neobot. I noticed XenoBot in early 2011, I didn't think much of it at the time since it didn't have any cavebot and that's the only thing I use the bots for.
Neobot died so I went to XenoBot since it had cavebot now
    That's about it.

    ill share mine:

My name is Miguel, im from San Diego, California (USA) im 18 and im a full time student, hope to graduate in six years, majoring in law.
i started playing tibia back in 2007, at the time i didnt know much about the game, my cousins were playing and told me to try it( back in those time my three cousins that played were in the top 25 of the server). They played in Menera, but since i was such a noob i didnt know about the server or anything else, so i actually started playing in Antica, since back then that was the first server on the list >.<. i had to make another char and start over, now i think about it a laugh. i also remember when i die 3 times trying to kill a wisp hahaha (that was in antica in my first char). so i started playing in menera and pretty much never move from there. ive played in Solera since a couple RL friends played there but didnt stay for long since the server was in war and everyone kill everyone, sucked at the time for me people just killed me and i didnt know why. Has far as botting i started with BlackD proxy in 2009 cost me 100k i remeber for 1 year, i was pretty noobie and only got like 50 lvls that whole year. them i stop playing RL and move to OT'S and otlands, i was trying to mount my own server but never could, and return to tibia. Found out about xeno in neoforums back in October ( ithink) of 2011 and just check it out and like it and stayed here. and now im botting and manualing my main in menera

It is kind of sad, isn't it? Didn't even catch this thread at the time it was started, seems it got buried pretty quick. I'm gonna have to type something up about myself, I suppose. I'll do it tomorrow when I'm not so tired. You should too, Sam!

My name is DarkstaR, but some of you know me as Nick. I work full-time making computers my bitch. I develop data processing software for a company called TechSafari as well as write and manage XenoBot. At times, many people take me as rude or think I'm a dick because I don't sugarcoat what I say, though I'm actually a pretty nice guy when it comes down to it. I started Tibia 8 years ago around 7.4 or 7.5, while I was living in California, though I didn't have any real memories or characters until 7.6. I quickly made my way into OT servers and by the age of 12 I started scripting in Lua at OTFans, where I met @SamDaMan and @HolmaN. By the time I was 13, nearly 14, I had gotten really good at Lua - besides the real programmers who did Lua, I was one of the best Lua scripters on the forum. When I turned 14, though, an unfortunate set of circumstances took me away from the computer for a year. During this time I studied development and software whenever possible. Fast forward to barely over a year later, I'm back at home and able to use my computer again. @SamDaMan invites me to Tibia Underground, which is where I met most of the current staff. I quickly dive back in to Lua and realize that I had gotten much better at conceptual programming logic. I moved to Tennessee around this time and I became a member at TPForums where @Jo3Bingham got me started in VB6 and mentored me in bot development. I used bot development to drown out the fact that I was in a new place with no friends; I quickly got good at it. Around 16 I started learning minimal C++ for OT Servers while I also took up VB.NET and started making TUGBot. TUGBot got very good very fast considering my experience, but, due to my lack of formal guidance, ended up being very sloppy and unscalable.

When I turned 17, I scrapped the TUGBot project and started making XenoBot in C++ - I actually called it TUGBot++ at first. XenoBot went under 3 re-writes until I felt the code was ready to go BETA, giving it a release date of Dec 18, 2010 at version 8.6. A few months in, OTLand moderators stole it and started releasing it for free. When standing up to the mods, with many people at my back, I ended up getting banned because, over there, corruption is king. Anyways, XenoBot kept going and getting better until June of 2011, when I got kicked out of my house. I live in my car for a few weeks, still working on XenoBot from the McDonalds WiFi, and kept pushing out releases (Including the HUGE 9.1 update which took a week). After a while of living in my car and going couch-to-couch, I moved across the country to Oklahoma and started a business doing freelance software development with @Zyphrus. 6 months on that grind before I moved back to Tennessee and worked 70 hour weeks in a Denso factory. Dec 28th, 2011, 3 days before I started work at Denso, XenoBot blew up due to the discontinuation of Neo. After 6 few months, I was able to quit Denso and spend 3 months on full-time XenoBot, before moving to Georgia and starting my job as a Programmer Analyst in July of this year.

Oh, and all the while, I played Morgana, Xerena, Vinera, Dolera and Solera. I now have all my mains on Solera.

Hello, my name is Cavitt, I use the alias Syntax most of the time. I first played tibia around 2005, getting in to OT in late 2005. Otcommunity was the first active board I was a part of, it eventually closed down and everyone dissolved in to either TibiaFans or OTFans. I began developing OT servers not too long after, starting with Brabexia, SheenOT, and a few others. The next years my activity was off and on, and I mainly made community scripts and honed my Lua scripting. By the time I graduated high school, OT had already taught me Lua, MySQL, XML, PHP, Javascript, and some C.

Two weeks after graduating high school, I was kicked out and lived with a friend for two weeks before attending Sam Houston State University. I began working towards my BA in Computer Science during this time. Around the time Xenobot was taking off I jumped on as a Global Mod to help Nick, by then an already good friend. Though my forum activity did not directly express it, I became more so intrigued with the bot, as I was when Nick had introduced the primitive concept that was solely a war-bot. Not long after I began developing primitive programs to help boost the popularity of the bot, including the Neobot to Xenobot waypoint converter. Not long after the scripting system featuring my childhood language was introduced, I began developing a library of my own to compliment the native library. I was soon appointed Admin, joining the ranks of Joe and Nick himself. As the popularity of my library grew and as I began to re-factor to meet the convention of the native library, Nick and I decided to merge my contributions in to the releases and I began developing on the official library.

Lualand was my next project relating to Xenobot, this one having a more personal goal. The project was named after the already owned domain name I had bought as a function database relating to OpenTibia. Leading in to the project I had no real prior knowledge of PHP and JavaScript development, save the small adventures during OpenTibia manipulating Automatic Account Creators. A few days in to the project I was content with my newfound skills and began developing the framework. The bulk of JavaScript development revolved and relied on Google Maps API V3. The images were from a similar project hosted by TibiaML. This was the project that inspired the idea for offline waypoint development.

Nearing the end of my first year of college I had already began to bore of my CS courses, as anyone working with JAVA would. I also felt the heat of the stacking college loans. I took a break from college and began to take up a job at a survey firm to pay off the current student loans I had accrued. I was promoted three times within the year, up to a technician, where I monitored the productivity and quotas as well as handling the processing of the statistical data.

While still employed at the survey firm I applied to MediaFire and was contacted within the next two days. At the end of the week I signed on as a PHP & JavaScript Web Engineer at MediaFire. I currently work on the frontend of the site and couldn’t be happier with my position.

Who would read it but someone that I already know? It's pointless; there's nothing here for us, like I said.

Hey, I'm Sara. I started tibia in 2003 and played both Antica and Harmonia, I quit in 2006 due to some real life issues and then came back in 2009, which was short lived as I quit later that year. I'm known on Otland for my mapping since that was something I was actually good at, I stopped mapping earlier this year.

I've only recently returned to Tibia, my friend Peroxide (also from Otland) convinced me to start again.

Funfact: I've never actually killed someone on real tibia the only pvp I've ever done was on an open-tibia server.
