Let's Talk About 11.0

Honestly, I am a botter. I won't deny it. However, I did love the days before bots. They were amazing, the old tibia was amazing. Sure it had some down sides but it also had it's upsides. I don't think tibia can ever go back to being like what it was though.
This 11.0 patch may be a new beginning but it's too late for that now as most of the old players have gone and moved on. I will play 11.0 patch without botting, that much is sure. If botting comes back, which unless they have done tremendous updates to be able to detect botting, then I will go back to botting/playing manual. I think it's a good sign that tibia is moving towards this change, albeit too late in the game. If they have it programmed so that every update will have to require you to completely reprogram your bot, or ever day things change preventing you from botting I think that would be great. I am not hating on botters, as I have said currently I am one. However I do think that interaction between players, and everything about the old tibia is the stuff I miss. Which there isn't much of these days.

Edit: reading some of the comments, I can't believe how many people are thinking the same as me.

2nd edit: Although I say it will be a good move for tibia. I won't deny that I will feel bad for Darkstar, and hopefully it wasn't taken that way. Obviously it really sucks for him and I feel for him as it most likely is his main source of income.

How many users do you think they would have if the bots are completely gone ? They now have 12~14k, maybe 5~6k?
Now, how many of these users do you think would pay premium account with real cash directly from them instead of paying for ingame cash ? Maybe 1k?
Tibia will die in the same second bots are gone, believe me. They cant just afford all the servers without botters.

You are Right in that Point but if they want to serve us a game and not a full automated nerd MMO, they Need to change that point even if they have much less income for a longer period of time and of course less "players" online. Tibia will die with botters too but CIP will never manage it i guess to bring this game back to where it once was. I especially mean the player base with around 50.000 online on average.

Discussing their customer Support etc isn't needed I guess because it can't be more worse.
CIP got zero marketing and can't manage a steam release and if they wanted to make the game more public to a wide range of steam users, they'd have to solve the botting problems first.

I've had some good memories using this bot and TUGbot!!! You should be proud of what you have accomplished, you've made alot of improvement since TUGbot and the initial release of Xenobot. Keep up the good work!! Cheers

The WindBot developer already stated that he's pushing an update within a week (or will try to) for Tibia 11, that he has been working on it since April. GG XenoBot lol.

Do u think its possible to make only healer/spellcaster for tibia 11? Its help a lot, when im playing manual.

Start on Medivia then if you like 7.4 times.

1000+ players online everyday, trade chat is spammed every second, real economy, no runes in shop, it is not an OT, it is a new game and the server has been online for 5 years.. Try it and you will love it, it's sick :P No bots btw.

There will be only 2 competitors, Windbot and iBot, sad to hear xenobot and bbot will not support 11, its nice to have competitors.

I just wanted to mention that other bots are on the move, they are trying to make a bot compatible with the tibia 11 client. Windbot is one of them. On the other hand, many bots will probably be shutdown as mentioned but there will always be people stubborn enough to keep on the legacy of the tibia bot. So if i were you, i would keep an eye out in the future.

Haven't tried myself but I read somewhere that its a bit more complicated to make a bot for it also, where he purposely made it harder to build bots for it. However like always it's obviously possible to make a bot for it like for any other game just if you put enough time.. Interesting. I should be transitioning to it then. Telania is literally just 'SELL CHARS & KKS' spam, everyone is botting max MC limit 24/7.

So after final update to tibia 11 everything on this xenobot forum will be more or less worthless right? Nobody playing real tibia can use any xenobot script etc anymore lol

I wouldn't buy it. Huge ban wave going on I heard. A friend of mine got deleted 2 days ago for only downloading bot and starting it up lol :D (was not xenobot, tho)

Who knows how long this bot will be usable?! Maybe 1 week? 2 weeks? Nobody knows....

So why did he get deleted, he was never botting, he said he opened bot once just to check out features, he didn't use it for exp, just to get familiar. Also he's not lying about his manual past since why would he lie to me and other friends.
I can only say what I know. Who knows - maybe cip now checks for some changes that a bot makes on a PC. It could be anything. Processes, altered memories, delays, idk

he has but afaik long time ago - at that time it didn't have it as you said. Who knows if they added it with a recent update.

Reminder: XenoBot does not support Tibia 11 If you want to keep using XenoBot, for the time being, you can play on client 10.99 if you keep pressing cancel on the popup to install Tibia 11. When Tibia 10.98 is removed, XenoBot will continue to support Tibia versions 8.70 to 10.99 for OT servers. Thanks for sticking with us for all this time.

i noticed you cant hit cancel anymore it just goes right to update does that mean its over now for xeno?

Just a reminder, the upcoming major update WILL also be released for 10v client so Tibia 11 will only be forced in 2017.
