OMG! Why didn't I see this yet?
Soooo...... My introduction.
Currently I'm 22 years old, I'm origionally from Peterborough (England), but moved to Cambridge for my career. I work full time as well as studying with the open university (If you're interested, it's a university you don't need to go anywhere for, 99% online, some shit needs to be printed & posted through mail though). I live with my gf of 5 years, Jess, in a flat no bigger than a corner shop. I'm currently buying my lair, a few miles out of Cambridge, in which I'll rig the entire house to a Rasberry Pi (using some of the sockets I'll control light fittings, curtains, music, power sockets, cooker, and doors. I've built the OS already, just need the electronics to drive the motors safely).
I started working last December in electronics testing, after some years of jobs at Sainsbury's (supermarket), Thomas Cook (Tour Operator, working in the call centre), and a few other places including McDonalds for over a year. In electronics I learned a lot, mostly about myself, and how bad I am at electronics. I blew up several thousands of pounds worth of printheads and circuit boards in the brief 8 months I worked in that job. I then got picked up by one of the software team (It's a very small company, just 20 or so people, and we make about a million pounds per year profit, that's $1.6 million ish). The guy spotted me writing a python script to speed up some of the testing I had to do (got really bored of it), and he noticed that the file was only created about 20 minutes before it was completed, and contained over 100 lines of code which worked perfectly. The script made use of the companies API, we produce software and electronics to drive print heads, and one of the things we offer is an API and a server, so the user uses our API to send commands via TCP/IP from their custom made client which controls the print server, which works in turn (via USB 3.0) with our hardware, to send very intricate signals to printheads, telling each nozzle (1024 on a "normal" head) when to jet ink. I started browsing our source codes, and learnt a lot about how to manipulate it, so today I'm head of the software testing department.
So enough about me "now", in the past... Well I started playing Tibia some 10 years ago, when I was just 12 years old, entering secondary school (I was one of the oldest in my year). I made friends with a guy called David, who played Tibia with his friend Sam (also in the school, but different classes meant we didn't actually meet at the school until year 9, when I was 14). Played for some months on Nova until Secura was released, then Premia when that came out. I bought premium for the first time about 2 weeks after logging in for the first time. My first character was Mali Regus, a level 20 druid on which I followed around David & Sam, healing them and occasionally shooting HMMs and SDs when I was feeling really adventurous! The character was quickly banned for use of macros when I found a program which allowed me to kill level 100+ players all by myself (using auto-reuse, there was no "use on target" back then, just auto-reuse bots). That ban got lifted after the 30 days, and I gave up my second account and reverted back to it, since my first still had a higher level character than it, and more money and better equipment, I also didn't know about parcels, one should note, and one of my characters was in Venore, the other Thais. So yeah, shortly after I moved to Premia I got hunted, then made a new character, got to level 30~, then got hunted, again, and again, and again. Eventually I managed to find a really nice spot on Premia (ghouls & skeletons in Ab'dendriel), where I stayed until one day getting killed by the guild which eventually formed Violent Saints, Vito Cascio Ferro, and, if my memory serves me correctly, split to also form Vengeance. I made that character up to level 115 before selling it and buying a level 140 elder druid, which I botted constantly at dragon lords until the stamina system came into play, at which point I became good friends with HolmaN (I'd bought the 140 ED from him previously, but we weren't so close). Of course I played HolmaNs 400 RP on Olympa and died on it repeatedly until he sold it, each time having to grind (or bot) back from 398, 399 to 400. I joined BugWT scripting team when I got the 140 ED, and made a few scripts & did community shit for them. Since then I've used all the bots out there (including, but not limited to: TibiaBot NG, Elfbot NG, TibiaAuto, BlackD Proxy, TUGBot, Neobot, iBot, bBot, RedBot Pro, and of course Xenobot). I've also been around most of the major communities in some way shape or form, including (as holman mentioned) TUG.
I didn't say much yet about my real life, I'm a motorcyclist of 4 years, currently riding a Suzuki Bandit (GSF 1200). I suffer with IBS, and several very abnormal phobis, as a result of misdiagnosed autism in my younger years. The autism also explains my inability to socialize and get on with people. Well that's really it, I guess.
Hope you enjoy me.
