    REPORTING BOTTERS

Hey guys, do you know if the reporting system of tibia actually changes the risk of botting? the more you get reported the higher the chances of deletion? i just got reported thats why and as far as i know ive been reported like 3 times in like 2 month, or month and 1/2 and how many reposts would you need to raise the risk of deletion? anyone knows?

A good guess would be that the system works like this:

Every player is monitored to an extent, 24/7. CIP may put 20% of their efforts into monitoring every player equally.

Once a player gets reported, it only makes sense that they would then spend their resources targeting that player, so reported players will consume the other 80% of CIPs efforts.

My advise would be to try avoid being reported. It's inevitable that people will report people, but where possible try to remain out of view, and keep people thinking you're just hunting manually.

A side note is that I suspect CIP are basing their data collectors on information gathered by bot reports. So if X player is reported, and his behaviours are of a pattern, they will record this pattern. When they next get around to updating their bot detection software, this pattern, if frequent enough, is likely to be implemented. That will in turn mean that the bot which created that pattern becomes a little more detectable. For this reason, I advise all botters against reporting other botters. If for nothing else, then for your own future in botting.
You cannot fail, so I'm lowering the standard.

You don't. I normally monitor chat logs at least though while botting...

As you pointed out: you don't... Unless of course the person reporting copy pastes the message received when reporting. (This followed by an insult is frequently reappearing in my chat logs :P)

@XtrmJosh yea, makes sense , but the thing is where you bot theres always other player and thanks to the fact that xenobot does not have a anti KS script to not kill other monster you draw attention and thats when the reporting happens people would care if you were botting if you didnt kill their monsters.
@jayenomics and i dont really know the number as far as u know it been about 3, how? most people flaunt at you that they reported you like the typical "Reportes ;] " with the little face too >.<

I've seen a anti-ks script somewhere. Haven't tried it out though (nor do I intend to).

Never got banned on any of those.
Either thats crazy lucky or the reporting system does not even work and is just there to make players "feel" like their making a change with their reporting, to which i should not even worry if i get reported.

botters don't get banned for botting. They get banned for talking about it in game, or sharing.
