lol how many of these games aren't single player? nuf said
Does a game need multiplayer to be good? Have you played World of Warcraft? There is no community, you can do nearly everything in the game without ever communicating with a player.

Diablo 3 was decent, about what I expected from a sequel to a game released 12 years after the previous in the series. The 'community' is pretty much 'lol mi charctur better dan urs look mi armory'.

But we weren't talking about community, were we?

Also, DF doesn't make money, it's pretty much a side project.

All in all you kids are missing the whole point to the issue. That is when people complained about the aimbot Cipsoft had zero choice but to implicate it into there stand alone client soo I mean how pissed would u be if in the next update they just seized the chance to increase their profits and threw a bot in the stand alone client.

When they added offline trainers did tibia die? no don't think so even tho for years training was the hardest part of tibia not the concept just the long periods of time doing sweet fuck nothing. I mean lets be realistic they have already added "Bot" functions to tibia if you don't know this like i've previously stated before please alt F4 Life.

Obviously you've never done a raid nor used the auction house...

I think what's really the case is that you don't know how to get your point across without being needlessly sardonic and facetious. People were getting hacked from using the exp counters that were available, and it's not really a bot feature, those were available in games before Tibia. Rune targeting via redboxing and hotkeys isn't really a bot feature, again, that was in games before Tibia added it. It was a natural step to add it because it didn't make sense not to have it in the game, same with stacking of potions and runes.

If they added a bot, I don't think I would be angry. No deletions and in-house support? Sign me up.

It really just sounds like you're angry at the game for some reason, but I can't figure out why.

"Looking for raid" solves any issues if you want to see content, you can find pugs a few weeks after raids release to clear all the content. And yeah, I used the auction house when I played, but I didn't need to communicate with any other players because all I did was scroll my mouse button to post 300 auctions every few hours then go throw rocks at cats and drink a beer with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Your obviously new to the English language and apparently born yesterday. point of the thread was the fact that once apon a time your little hotkey function for runes and items did not exist. "HENCE" they gave the community a "Cipsoft" made aimbot. If you did not know this then i suggest you alt F4 life. With that being said the whole point to this "Discussion" is what if we got a community of people to "Complain/harass" on the boards simply stating facts.
Fact 1 bots will live forever
Fact 2 if everyone had a bot who would complain
Fact 3 not only would it relieve them of all the complaints about botting if they marketed it they'd make that much more money
Fact 4 Anyone who prefers a 2D game to a 3D game is either 1 retarded or 2 is a 13 year old with no source of income and pc cannot support anything better then tibia... -.- cause lets face it if there was no bot for tibia this game would have been dead to me when i was like what 10.

Ok let me explain something to you Yes i'm alittle angry with the way this game has turned out for more then enuf reason however Targeting via redboxing ruint the pvp aspect to tibia cause lets be real with each other I was a lvl 170+ mage before the skull system and was one of the high lvl pvpers. It was one of the main reasons I fell inlove with this game cause it took timing and skill to play it now they make it user friendly so even the most dumb witted people can play. It was all a marketing skeem cause people complained about the aimbot. Lets look at it like this. If tibia bots didn't produce an aimbot system that alot of the community complained about do you think they would have scrapped their original pvp system? don't think so. I've been playing tibia for 13 years... I seen it change for good and for worse but fact of the matter is things are done based on the communities response.

If you think I made this thread cause i was deleted your saddly mistaken it was just a thought based on tibia's history.

Just alittle info i think everyone should know... PVP ENFORCED used to be the only server u could play there was no limit on the people you could kill. the reason for this is because before the aimbot it was 100% harder to pvp. The reason they put the skull system into effect was because of 3 close friends of mine who exploited the aimbot... Proxy, Zuu, Night Fang the 3 spent 48 hours killing everything and everyone with ue combos and sd combo they kept the entire antica server in pz they were later deleted for destructive behavior.

Oh yeah, I understand that. The game is definitely more fun when your friends are playing and such. Thing is, a lot of that is nostalgia. I played 13 years ago too, but I don't miss it. Why? Because I was a, well, retard then. At the time Tibia used ripped off Ultima 5 sprites and your character jumped from tile to tile. But it's nothing about skill, MMORPGs are not about skill, they're about time invested. Time = levels/power/resources to piss away on griefing people. Right clicking a HMM and having to aim at a moving creature was retarded, not skill. That's why most people used bots to aim for them, because skill didn't exist, only bots/macros.

I honestly haven't played a pvp server since 2002 or so, and don't care to go back.

You're right though, the game isn't based around community as much as it used to be. I think that's partially because there were only 50-200 people online at a time, so you kind of got to know people. Now there's more stuff to do, and, well, hunting solo is usually the best way to go. It's not just Tibia, lots of games are like this. There's no use trying to chase the MMO-dragon, you can never go home.
