Here's a way to work out the % increase in damage against a specific creature:

Take your weapon, look it up on wiki as icy / firey / w.e, and take the number of attack points which are converted to a magic based damage (e.g 9 ice attack points in my previous example), now work out what percentage this is of the total damage:

    Original damage = 48.
    Icy damage = 9.
    48 / 9 = 5.33r.
So your ratio for the damage is 1:5.33 (for each 5.33 attack points you have in melee, you now have 1 in element).

Work that out as a fraction:
    1 / 5.33 = 0.188

Work it out as a percentage:
    0.188 x 100 = 18.8%.

Round it to something easier to work with:
    18.8% = ~20%

Now take the % weakness the target creature has to the element which you will use.

Blazing Fire Elemental = 25% weak to Ice.

Now you must calculate your weapons ice damage percentage against the creatures weakness percentage:

20% of 25% = your damage increase using an enchanted weapon = 5%.

I could fucking swear I got something wrong in that, but I don't have the energy to try correct it now.
You cannot fail, so I'm lowering the standard.

Word bro thanks. But; theirs no 100k weapons enchantable xD
But in the case u pointed out. The atk 44 reduced to 36 + 8 element damage won't hit higher than a melee above in atk like sov etc..
No worries mate, see my next post for how to work it out for any weapon, it's kinda confusing and a little inaccurate due to rounding, but it should give you a rough idea of the actual advantage. If you're gonna profit by 100k per day, you'll get that % extra (e.g 5% extra, earning 100k per day, is about 5k extra per day). Is it worth 5k extra per day to enchant your weapon? Possibly, I guess the cost of enchanting is quite low, 300gp for 2k hits or whatever it is, so can't be so bad. It's just a matter of thinking a little. The weapon cost I guess is kinda irrelevant based on that information (that no weapons are 100k), since I think almost everyone is capable of earning 100k quite quickly nowadays, or at least anyone with a bot who has some experience at botting...

It depends I guess on the difference. If your % damage increase is higher using an enchanted weapon than the % increase on the higher attack weapon (over the lower unenchanted weapon) then I guess it's worth while. Example:

    Weapon with 30 attack, enchanted.
    Weapon with 40 attack, unenchanted.
Increase in attack for using the weapon with 40 attack is 25%.
If you were to get 25% or more damage increase (as calculated previously to be only 5%) then it would be worth while using the enchanted weapon.

The numbers aren't exact, but it's a good guide. Which weapons are we talking about in particular? If you can give me their attack, enchanted and unenchanted, and the attack of the higher level weapon, I can tell you an approximate damage increase using each weapon type. Of course it won't be 100% accurate I think, but I still say it's worth while to look at the numbers. Would also need to know the target creature, so I could calculate the damage increase (primarily need to know it's % weakness to the damage type of the enchantment).

Uhm blade of curroption. And mystic blade enchanted
It might be better using enchanted considering the hit or miss scenerio with melee.
