americans on european servers. lag??

hello, im planing on change server, some friends told me to change to an european server (we´re from mexico,chile,usa) and they´re all changing to harmonia (european) but i want to ask if it´s good to change in/on european server or it´s better to stay on americans, since lot of americans change to european/inverse i want to ask you if you tested before playing on european servers, how is the lag there?? decent, playable, terrible??

I switched one of my chars to a european serv & i had alot more lag, could of just been me dunnooo

I play Unitera, Fidera, Secura. Secura is European and lags slightly, Fidera and Unitera are American and I hardly lag at all.


but if you lived in Say sweden or poland you will lag less I euro world.

test your pings to the servers first, anything above 80ms and you should reconsider, anything above 100ms and you will lagg. (ideally you want 1-50ms)

1-~50ms - no noticeable lagg
~51-100ms - noticeable lagg but still playable
~101ms-150ms noticeable lagg, playable if you are used to lagg

150ms+ i would not play

This is my personal preference, others will be different, i never go above 40ms and can feel lagg at 80ms+ (based on blackd ping tester)

I live on the east coast of Canada. I played on Olympa (european) for a few years and had 220~300 ping. I have around 130~150 on american servers.

You get used to it after a while. I'm pretty sure every game I've ever played, had their servers on the west coast. So I get 110~150 ping in any game I play. Lol

Hey bro I'm from mexico and I play in aurora(european) and I rarely lagg to the point where its not playable! I only get kicked every once in a while but I'm not sure wether its just me or its the serv or wtf but its pretty much playable :>

Suppose if you're used to it then it wouldnt really effect you

@firestone chetos - You need to test your ping before you make your decision, if your ping to american and European game servers are within 80ms of eachother then i would say go for it!!
