Preferably with the report template Smeg made in the third section of this post. Scam reports in this thread, will not even be looked at, and will be delete immediately. By placing unnecessary posts in this thread, you risk an infraction, and if things get out of hand, even a ban.

Scam report template

If you would like to get someone added to the scammer list, please report them making a "[SCAM REPORT]" thread in the trading section, using the following template. Try to fill as much of the fields as you can, so we have as much information as possible. To keep things understandable, I've added one template filled in with my own information and another one that has not been filled in yet.

Post as much screenshots as you can in this section. With atleast one showing that you had a deal with each other and one showing that you paid the pre-arranged amount of money

Usefull tips

• Previous scammer list: Allthough the first page of the previous scammer list hasn't been updated for a long time, there is still plenty of information to be found in the old scammer list thread. Just use the search function of the thread and see if something pops up. The old scammer list can be found here.
• Know who you are dealing with: Before trading with anyone on this forum, make sure that you know who you are dealing with. Do some research about the person you are dealing with. Find out if he has done a lot of, proven, succesfull trades or none. Again, just use the search bar of the forum to find information.
• Confirmation key: It's not safe to buy an account instant only because the seller got a confkey.
  Since the hacker could order one just the day after you activate yours and hack you since the key are sent via the rl mail system to the adress used on the account, which is his. Remember that it takes 30 days to change the information on the account, having a confkey or rk doesn't make it go any faster.
• Middleman: If you are dealing with someone who has no history of succesfull trades yet, it might be a good idea to use a middleman for the trade. A middleman is someone trusted by the community that holds both the account of the seller and the payment of the buyer, while the registration of the account is being changed. This takes atleast 30 days, but is in some cases worth the waiting time. Make sure that the middleman is indeed a trustable person and not someone's friend X.
• People pretending to be trusted: Lately there have been an increase in people pretending to be trusted sellers. These are people that use the name of trusted sellers, but they actually are scammers. It is easy to prevent getting scammed by them, Always ask sellers to confirm their identity, for example by letting them send a pm to you, or show you the character on Tibiacast. The scammers won't be able to do that and I'm sure the real sellers wouldn't mind confirming their identity.
• Trading verification:​ It is always good to keep track of your trade in public. That way everyone can see that there was a deal if something goes wrong. And also, if everything goes smooth people can see/check that you have previously done some trades on this forum. For this purpose there is a subforum in the trading section where you can post your trading verification threads. You can find this subforum here.
• Other trading platforms: The trading section on the Xenobot forums is obviously not the only place where account/tibia gold trades are being done. Scammers usually take advantage of this by trying their scam on every possible trading place they can find. So it is always a good idea to check other forums as well. For example, there is also a scammer list on the ibot forums which you can find here

I'll add xXKefferXx as soon as I'm back home. To add Azleh I would like to see some more proof though. I'll need atleast one screenshot showing that you've send the $175 to him and also a screenshot where he asks you to send the $175 to his paypal account in exchange for the tibia account. Would be awesome if you could add those screenshots in the thread that you linked.
