The newer confirmation key cancels the first one making it useless

As far as I know that's incorrect. A confirmation key is valid for two months after purchasing, no matter if another one is being purchased afterwards. So @Joey88 the account would be 'safe' after 30 days, the characters and the items on them are 'safe' after 90 days.

I would suggest writing a contract, sounds silly but get them to sign and date it, ask for a scan of his drivers license/front of drivers license. If anything goes pearshape. If the buyer/seller does a shifty, just straight to paypal and show em the evidence.

even if ordered later conf has been activated,
This mean that account could be taken back in 30 days ( before registration change),
and hacked in 89 days(if old owner order new confirmation before new one accept changing registration info).

So best way is to instant change emeil adress after 3 months using rkey to see if its still working and you can be 100% sure about safely of your account then.

Edit: @Pirate, the old confkey doesn't get invalid if you activate the newer one, unless it's older than 60 days. A confkey is always valid for 60 days, no mather how many you order and in what order you activate them. The old recovery keys gets invalid on the other hand.

On topic: I have bought and sold chars many times in the past, but i have never traded one account for another. Im about to trade an account for another voc with some guy on these forums and im thinking about using a middle man for this trade (first time using middle man service). Could somebody explain how a middle man works in detail, would it actually secure a trade like the one im about to do? Also how much does a middleman usually charge for something like this?

Add something about too low price or something .
Example: someone selling 1kk on rl tibia for €10 = 100% scam but peopple might fall for it because they think they found a nice deal

One question, i want to sell my account, what is better to receive the payment, bank transfer or paypal? is there any risk i get scammed if they pay first? thanks in advance for the answer
