Unless you plan on using spellwands to train, which wouldn't be a terrible idea, I see no reason not to go ahead and level. Yes training more will make leveling easier, but if you're not in it for the long haul using spellwands, go ahead and level IMO.
Currently using spellwands just don't know if I should keep doing it.

It's been a couple years since I've done it. If you look it up on wiki I think it says each character can only use 1 or 2 wands every 24 hours. I used to keep an extra char logged out in my training spot to use them.
Why on earth would you train to 100 swording without training shielding@Spectrus actually started training that character and gave it to me when it was already at 80 or 90 swording. I had another EK that was level 170~ with 10 shielding as well. Got the idea from @Infernal Bolt originally
