Haven't tried more than 4 but I think it should be possible to bot like 8 MCs at once if you minimize them all (or reduce fps to 1 while maximized).

Why don't you use teamviewer to remote on your home PC

1. My connection at home sucks since I share it with other home members so might get heavy lags sometimes
2. My PC is in same room as my bed and I cannot be arsed to sleep next to fans' noise
3. I sometimes need to reboot my PC to test some things while programming so it's annoying to setup all MCs every few hours
4. 15$ is not that much really I rather save my PC's life by not running it 24/7
