That's a huge step in the other direction, lol. You can get a QHD screen on the laptop I suggested.

Did you see my comment about the 970M?

    @nichjeremy,

You have to remember that CyberPowerPC is charging you for labor (and slight profit on components). You will be able to have a much better desktop if you were to build one yourself. The main post of this thread has videos which are very detailed and gives even the biggest newbies the ability to build their own desktop computer. It's really much easier than it sounds.

That configuration is trash. Don't buy it. I'll make one for you.

    • Computer Case: Corsair Obsidian Series Black 450D High Airflow Mid-Tower Computer Case [+$120] (Amazon)
    • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K (8MB Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) [+$335] (Amazon)
    • GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5 [+$340] (Amazon)
    • Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO Z97 ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 [+$210] (Amazon)
    • PSU: Cooler Master V650 - Compact 650W 80 PLUS Gold Modular PSU [+$100] (Amazon)
    • RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 DRAM 2400MHz [+$95] (Amazon)
    • Optical Drive: LG Internal UH12NS30 BD-ROM Blu-ray Optical Drive [+$46] (Amazon)
    • Hard Drive (Primary): Western Digital 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM [+$75] (Amazon)
    • Optional SSD (Primary): Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SATA III [+$133] (Amazon)

    Sub-total: $1321 (without SSD).
    Taxes: Unknown
    Total: $1454 (with SSD)

Notes: This build is LEAPS better than the one you provided. I would recommend you start with these specifications and go from there. You will need to purchase a water cooler for the CPU (for optimal performance). Everything else should be fine. Please watch the video on the main page! The GTX 970 is approximately 53% faster than the 750Ti you wanted!*

*The GTX 750Ti averages about 50 FPS on Battlefield 4 with maximum settings. The GTX 970 averages about 75 FPS on Battlefield 4 with maximum settings.

Why would you pay more for worse components? Purchase the components in my list above and you'll be happy.

The video in the main post is literally a step-by-step guide.
