But if you can't keep up with your protein from only food, shakes is a good and easy way to reach the daily protein your body need to recover and build.
For pre-work out, I can't say anything, Iv'e done with Coffe and good music since I started out, have worked nicely for me =)
the thing is im not the best eater and dieting with food and things is hard for me, so i fill up all the proteins i dont get during the day with a shake in the morning and after work out

I dont really believe in the pump/pre workout pills/shakes! So why bother buying them, they are pretty expensive ^^
yea alot of people dont believe in them, but i remember the first time i took it, i was running i didnt want to stop running, it was pretty amazing, so i kept with it
